Desc: A Band of Dreamers and a Judge: Directed by Hesam Eslami. The mountains of Savadkooh in northern Iran are haunted by stories of buried treasures. Gangs of prospectors drill into its treacherous slopes, dreaming of laying their hands on this alleged ancestral wealth. As these gangs roam the mountains, a local judge and her law enforcement officers, tasked with putting an end to illegal looting, are always one step behind them. A documentary filmmaker accidentally joins one of these gangs, posing difficult questions for the authorities.
